| An example of Guangzhou growth; Elsie our guide said everything around this area is new within the last 5 years. She said the buildings keep getting taller as there's no more ground! One building is 100 stories tall and they are building a twin; their own "Twin Towers". |

| Shamian Island is a favorite spot for models; they were everywhere. Our guide said 4,000 people make Shamian Island their home; while the other 13.5 million are in the main city of Guangzhou. |
